James Vine, 69, has been charged with one count of first degree murder in the death of Robert Wesley.
Wesley was shot in the head just before 5 p.m. Sunday in the 6400-block of South Yale. He was taken to an area hospital where he died.
Vine is expected to appear in bond court on Friday.
