The former boys basketball coach at Crete-Monee High School was sentenced to four years probation as part of a plea deal for molestation charges.

Prosecutors say the male student victim's family also agreed to the plea deal.

Matthew Ryndak, 30, pleaded guilty Wednesday to two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault.

He was originally charged with eight counts but prosecutors agreed to drop the remaining charges under the plea deal.

Ryndak was accused of molesting the boy in late 2010.
