Police warn of S. Side armed robberies

Chicago police are warning residents in two South Side communities about a series of armed robberies.

Police say at least six people have been robbed at gunpoint as they walked to and from their cars.

The crimes have happened in an area from State Street over to Vernon and from 71st down to 75th in the city's Park Manor and Grand Crossing neighborhoods.

The victims were robbed of items from cash to cars.
