More Chicago women in top spots at big companies

That's the finding of a new census released today by The Chicago Network.

That survey found among Chicago's 50 largest publicly reporting companies, women directors hit their highest level ever since tracking began: 15.6 percent.

The percentage of women executive officers out of all new executive officer positions is now 16 percent.

It was the first increase in two years.

The survey also reports in increase in women of color in leadership positions.
