Members of the Chicago Teachers Union and Occupy Chicago are spending the night at Chicago Public Schools headquarters.
The group is protesting Mayor Rahm Emanuel's efforts to close some schools and increase the number of non-union charter schools.
CPS says it will do whatever it takes for students to have access to quality schools in their community immediately, and that includes creating new turnaround schools.
