The penny rides start Saturday, December 31st at 10 p.m. and end at 4 a.m. Sunday, January 1st.
CTA drivers and staff will help customers with questions regarding fare payment.
Signs will be posted on buses and at rail stations reminding customers to not swipe or insert their farecards during the penny ride period.
