Report OKs whooping cough vaccine

The strategy is known as "cocooning." It's backed by the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention and is meant to block pertussis from infecting infants in the first place.

And ,while another group of Canadian researchers says the practice is too pricy and inefficient, this latest report is not directly recommending cocooning. It just says that, if you choose to do it, it's okay.
