Five adults and three juveniles were taken into custody at the River Oaks Center in Calumet City Tuesday night, according to police. They were charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and mob action, and have been banned from the mall.
A witness said the fight began inside a New York and Company store and escalated.
Mall officials described the incident as "minor."
