The team from Prairie Junior High School in Alsip ran through its final practice Thursday.
They will leave for New Orleans Friday evening, and they'll perform at halftime of the game in the Superdome on Jan. 3.
The team got the invitation to perform last year and has been raising money for transportation and lodging ever since.
