The owner of a vacant building where a collapsed roof killed two Chicago firefighters has been jailed on contempt charges.

Chuck Dai couldn't pay the $50,000 bond ordered by a judge Thursday.

The fire during Christmas week of 2010 killed firefighters Edward Stringer and Corey Ankum.

Prosecutors say Dai failed to comply with a court order requiring him to secure and repair the South Side property.
