Quigley, Kirk discuss visa waiver program in Poland

Rep. Mike Quigley has returned from Poland where he met with President Bronislaw Komorowski to discuss including the Eastern European nation in a program that would make it easier for Polish tourists to enter the United States. Sen. Mark Kirk was also on the trip.

According to Quigley's office, he and Kirk met with former President Lech Walesa, founder of the Solidarity movement and Nobel Peace Prize winner, and Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz, archbishop of Krakow and Pope John Paul II's closest aide for over 40 years.

Quigley and Kirk also visited the Warsaw Ghetto Memorial and the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum.
