Firefighters revive dog found inside burning building

The Chicago Fire Department revived a dog found on the second floor of a burning building Wednesday.

The fire happened in the 1700-block of West Pierce.

A woman got out on her own. She was taken to a hospital in serious to critical condition.

When firefighters searched the house they found a lifeless dog on the second floor. They gave the dog oxygen using a specialized mask for animals.

The dog was taken to an animal hospital.
