Police say a woman was sexually assaulted by a man after going into an alley with him in the 1400-block of North Monticello.

The suspect, described as a 35-year-old Hispanic male between 5'7" and 5'8" with a stocky build, is known "to sexually assault victims, who have high risk lifestyles, while displaying a knife," according to a police statement. He is also known to frequent the area in the 3500 West Bloomingdale and has a tattoo of a cross on his right shoulder.

Police say he met this victim, 31, walking on North Avenue between Homan and Pulaski on January 29 around 1 a.m.
