Exercise can lower stroke risk

It's a well known fact that regular exercise can help lower your risk of stroke.

But now there is information that people who are physically fit also have better odds of recovery if they do have a stroke. These people responded much better to clot-busting drugs, had less brain damage, and were more likely to recover their motor skills than more sedentary patients.

This study was presented at the American Stroke Association meeting.
