Some of Chicago's Latino aldermen have teamed up with environmental leaders to call for a cleanup of the city's coal-fired plants.

The alderman, including 25th Ward Alderman Danny Solis, are calling for the closure of the Fisk and Crawford power plants. They say the plants pose as "imminent health risks" to the neighboring communities, many of which are minority based.

The Clean Power Coalition say they would like to see the plants shut down and new measures introduced that will insure the safe use of the sites in the future.
