At Chicago City Hall Wednesday morning, airport concession workers demonstrated, demanding job security.

They are concerned about a stalled city ordinance that was introduced in October, which requires job stability and living wages for people who work at airport concessions. They are worried the new airport concession management company that won a contract last summer may fire some workers.

There has been no movement in the City Council on the bill. but aldermen told the crowd they would try to push it through.
