Investigators are trying to figure out what started a fire at a state senator's office in Chicago's west suburbs.

It happened just before 2 a.m. Monday at the building on Warren Avenue in Downers Grove. The building was the office of State Senator Ron Sandack.

It took firefighters three hours to put out the flames. The fire caused the roof of the two-story building to collapse.

No one was hurt.
