Members of a Chicago Police marine unit rescued a woman from the waters of Lake Michigan Monday night.

It happened at the east end of the Chicago locks.

Police say the woman, who they describe as being in her early 20s, may have been trying to commit suicide by throwing herself into the cold water.

After the rescue, the woman was taken to Northwestern. She's in good condition.
