'Bionic exoskeleton' helps paralyzed patients

A new kind of robot is helping some paralyzed patients learn to walk again.

James Nall helped demonstrate the wearable "bionic exoskeleton" device at a Colorado hospital. It put him back on his feet again for the first time since he broke his neck nearly two years ago.

Using a body weight support system for safety, a therapist manually triggers each step. The hope is that the therapy will retrain Nall's nervous system so he will be able to walk on his own one day.
