A fast food chain is changing its source for meat and eggs.

Burger King says all of its eggs and pork will come from cage-free chickens and pigs by the year 2017.

The world's second-largest fast food chain is making the switch following pressure from the Humane Society, which is pushing companies to purchase from suppliers that support a more humane treatment of animals.

Right now, 9 percent of Burger King's eggs and 20 percent of its pork comes from cage-free animals.
