A tentative deal has been announced in a contract dispute at Arlington Park.

People there and at off-track betting sites in Illinois should be able place wagers this weekend on the Kentucky Derby.

Arlington Park and the Illinois Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association had not been able to reach an agreement on a contract for this year. As a result, the Kentucky horseman's association was withholding the simulcast signal from Churchill Downs in support of Illinois owners and trainers.

The Kentucky Derby is the biggest betting day of the year.
