But, as you keep in touch with family and friends, who's keeping an eye on you? A survey by CareerBuilder finds that many companies use social networking sites to research job candidates.

And, recently we've heard that some employers are demanding that applicants hand over their passwords so they can view an individual's restricted profile. Illinois Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky has introduced legislation to prevent companies from requiring people to provide that information.
