Van crashes through Best Buy door, iPads stolen

Chicago police say a Northwest Side Best Buy store was burglarized early Monday after a vehicle crashed through a door to gain access.

The Best Buy at 2100 N. Elston Ave. near Bucktown was burglarized around 5:44 a.m. Wednesday.

The thieves rammed a rear door, and made out with more than 60 iPads, 11 Apple laptops and 10 GPS devices.

The panel van had not been found as of Wednesday morning and no one was in custody yet, according to police News Affairs.
