It is not known what caused the mains to fail.
The first one broke at 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon on South River Road.
Another main on Ridgeland Street failed around 7 p.m. Wednesday night, followed by another on Northwest Highway around 10 p.m.
Residents are urged to boil their water for at least 5 minutes before using it until at least Friday morning.
