The series kicks off Monday, June 11 and will feature 176 screenings of current and classic movies in 128 citywide parks through Oct. 26.
Admission is free, and all movies begin at dusk, weather permitting. Patrons can call the Movies in the Parks hotline for daily listings and updated weather-related cancellations at 312-742-1134.
Several of this year's selections include screenings of Dolphin Tale, Hugo, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Moneyball, The Smurfs, Super 8, Vertigo and The Wiz. Click here for the Movies in the Parks 2012 schedule.
