The mother duck began squawking when her ducklings became trapped. An employee of a nearby car dealership came to the rescue, removing the sewer grate and climbing into the hole and pulling the ducklings to safety. Then the crowd that had gathered stopped traffic to help the duck family get across 159th Street.
