A federal jury has found a group of Chicago police officers accused of starting a bar fight liable in the federal civil suit against them.

Four friends filed the suit claiming they were attacked by the officers at the Jefferson Tap and Grille back in 2006.

Parts of the incident were caught on surveillance video.

The officers were found liable for using excessive force, battery and assault.

The jury awarded the victims more than $30,000 in damages.
