The two adults and two children were all wearing life jackets but were showing signs of hypothermia, acccording to the U.S. Coast Guard.
At first, rescue teams couldn't find them
"A good samaritan ended up finding the vessel, flagged us over, and that's when we retrieved the four people that were hanging on to the capsized vessel," said David Otte of the U.S. Coast Guard.
Coast guard officials said the boat started taking on water after a maneuver.
The boaters were in the water for about 45 minutes and the temperature was about 58 degrees.
