Chicago In-Water Boat Show debuts

The city's newest boating event will launch with the debut of the boaat Show. Hundreds of boats will be docked at the new 31st Street Harbor for Chicagoland to experience water activities, test-drive, learn boating and buy; along with daily entertainment, hot products, gadgets, technology and tons of on-water interactive activities.

Visitors can come by land or water! Take Lakeshore Drive or cruise into the show by boat. 31st Street Harbor offers slips for show visitors.

HIGHLIGHTS:

-Over 100 boats of every type ranging from 26 ft. to 70 ft-Climb aboard some of the most unique boats around! Cigarette boat, luxury yacht from France, 65 ft. houseboat w/green technology

-Flyboard-Jet Propulsion Technology-Fly like a bird, swim like a dolphin! Ever dreamed of being a superhero? With a new jet-propulsion technology you can fly up to 35 ft. in the air and dive deep! Let us know if you're interested and we'll get you certified with an instructor. This jet-propulsion technology attaches to any personal watercraft (PWC) and allows one to fly up to 35 ft. in the air and dive deep. (see photo on product sheet)

-Discover boating Demo Dock firsthand - free on-water courses Sharpen existing skills or learn the basics Advanced Docking and Precision Boat Control, Essential Boating Safety, and Introduction to Sailing.

More than 5,000 boats dock annually in nine marinas across the city's lakefront. With the addition of the 31st Street Harbor, Chicago boaters will find an additional 1,000 slips, making it easier to access Lake Michigan from downtown.
