Thirty-three-year-old Nik Wallenda successfully walked 190 feet over the falls, not downstream as others have tried it.
Wallenda walked on a 2- inch wide cable from New York to Canada, the equivalent of four football fields.
He battled wind, fog and water spray.
The daredevil is a seventh generation member of the famous Wallenda family.
