Puerto Rican culture celebrated with parade, festivals

A weekend of Puerto Rican festivities in Chicago continued when the annual Puerto Rican Parade stepped off Saturday morning.

Fiestas Puerto Riquenas is also underway in Humboldt Park. The festival officially opened Thursday and will last until Sunday.

The event is a celebration of Puerto Rican culture.

The festival is the second largest festival in Chicago and the largest Hispanic event in Midwest.

If you missed the parade, you can watch the broadcast of it Sunday at 1 p.m. on ABC-7.
