Chelsea Lloyd, 29, died in September. She had been a teacher and coach at Tefft Middle School in Streamwood.
Last August her car was rear ended by a pickup on Route 59 in Bartlett.
A final autopsy said she died of bronchial pneumonia and of injuries suffered in the accident.
Her family is suing the owner of the pickup and their employee who was driving it.
