Cabbies to begin Monday morning strikes

The United Taxi Drivers Community Council is calling for a strike every Monday morning from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The council claims to represent at least 2,000 cabbies.

They are calling for a hike in Chicago cab fares, which have been frozen since 2005.
