Robbie Fehlman was walking with a friend on Friday in Lakewood, Colorado, when the tragedy happened.
A woman was arrested and charged with vehicular homicide and careless driving. Investigators suspect prescription medicines may have played a role in the accident.
Fehlman had just graduated from eighth grade at Larson Middle School. He and his mother moved to Colorado two weeks ago to join his sister.
