First African-American female NASCAR driver speaks in Chicago

A trail-blazing racecar driver was in Chicago Friday talking about her motivation to get behind the wheel.

"My dad was heavy on the motor sports scene - street racing, drag racing, that's where my influence came from," said Tia Norfleet, the first African-American woman to compete as a NASCAR driver.

Norfleet spoke on WVON radio Friday morning to try and spur more interest in NASCAR, as well as to discuss her role in its history.
