Schmidt is due in court Wednesday on trespass and property damage charges stemming from a dispute with her neighbors who say she harassed them and accused a woman of having an affair with her husband.
The woman says that's not true.
In 2010, Schmidt was accused of trying to use her political clout to get police to ignore her husband's 9-1-1 calls and complaints of domestic abuse.
