The settlements total more than $7 million.
Five million dollars will go to Michael Tillman, who was exonerated after spending more than 23 years in prison.
Tillman also sued former Mayor Richard M. Daley, who was state's attorney during that time.
As part of the settlement, Daley will not have to be deposed by lawyers.
