Performers tumbled and twirled at the 24th annual Say No to Drugs and Violence parade Saturday.

Organizers say they hope to stem drug-fueled violence in the Austin neighborhood.

A local reverend started the parade in 1989.

The day began with a march through the West Side neighborhood, ending at Austin's healing Temple Church.
