Police say the driver of a car with five occupants lost control of the vehicle in the outbound lanes of the Kennedy at Armitage Avenue around 4:30 a.m.
The car struck a concrete wall then crossed back into traffic and struck two vans.
A 23-year-old woman who was a passenger in the car died.
The driver of the car was arrested for driving under the influence.
