A judge set bond at $200,000 for a Chicago Public School teacher accused of beating his dog to death.

Twenty-five-year-old Derek Fierro is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, a felony.

Police say he called officers to his home early yesterday and told them what he had done.

Fierro allegedly became angry after the dog soiled itself then refused to get into the bath.
