Rough waters on Lake Michigan have many Chicago beaches under rip current warnings.

The National Weather Service issued a high risk warning for rip currents along the lakefront until 10 p.m. Saturday night.

As a result, at least nine Chicago beaches - including North Avenue - have posted swim advisories.

The city of Evanston closed all of its beaches again today because of the warnings.
