Report: Police investigate possible huffing in crash that killed 5-year-old

Highland Park police are said to be investigating if an 18-year-old girl was huffing from compressed gas canisters before she crashed into a family on Labor Day, killing a 5-year-old girl, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The teen, Carly Rousso, has been charged with misdemeanor DUI.

The victim, Jaquelin Santos-Sacramento, died after a car drove up on the sidewalk hitting her, her mother and her two brothers.

The mother and the boys were hospitalized.
