Officers had a call about a man with a gun near 77th and south Wolcott. They say the teen fit the description and ran from officers when they approached. That's when police say the teen allegedly pointed a gun at them.
An officer shot and wounded the teen, hitting him in the rear end.
This was the second police-involved shooting in Chicago this weekend.
