Loyola, Joliet JC to receive federal grant

A pair of Illinois colleges has received more than $500,000 to improve women's safety on campus.

The U.S. Department of Justice is giving $270,00 to Loyola University In Chicago and $297,000 to Joliet Junior College. The schools are supposed to use the money for police training and education programs to reduce sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking.
