Char-boiled burger emits pollution?

September 25, 2012

Researchers at the University Of California, Riverside have been studying what's released in the air when a hamburger is cooked at high temperatures. The head investigator says a charbroiled burger emits the same mass particulate matter as a heavy duty diesel truck traveling143 miles per hour.

Researchers at the university are now testing devices to be mounted on broilers and building roofs to help reduce the pollution.
