Roller coaster spider mourned

For many, spiders are something to be squished, not missed, but at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, they're mourning the loss of Tiny the spider.

For 21 years, she has been seen clinging to the side of the American Eagle roller coaster along with her babies, during the Halloween season.

But according to the park, Tiny was found "deflated and unresponsive" earlier this month.

Saturday afternoon, she was laid to rest at Carousel Plaza.

Visitors are urged to stop by during Fright Fest to pay their respects.
