Hundreds of Department of Children and Family Services workers face the threat of layoffs. DCFS was going to have 283 workers laid off effective Monday. However, the agency says it is still working with the union to determine who will be among those cut.
Monday morning, it was unclear exactly when those workers would be laid off.
