Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr votes absentee

October 31, 2012 (CHICAGO)

"The Congressman has voted by absentee ballot," the spokesperson said. "There are no plans for an election night event."

Jackson remains at Mayo Clinic, where he is being treated for bipoloar disorder. The congressman has been on a leave of absence since June, when he was first diagnosed.

He returned to his Washington, D.C., home for a while, but decided to return to Mayo.

Jackson recently made robocalls to his constituents, asking for patience.

The feds are investigating Jackson's finances.
