Chicago voter turnout at '08 levels

Voter turnout was as high as it was four years ago in Chicago, the Chicago Board of Elections says.

After absentees are folded in, Chicago will have voter turnout roughly identical to 2008 at about 73.8 percent..

Election officials said this year's early voting numbers broke the record set in 2008.
