Bond is set at $100,000 for a private emergency medical technician in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash in Skokie earlier this week.

Kristian Hernandez, 36, appeared in court Friday.

Hernandez is charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report it. Detectives tracked him down at work and arrested him two days ago.

The body of 53-year-old Ronald Bougan was found lying in the grass near a forest preserve on Monday.
